Yoga Starts Today

I will be doing yoga everyday for the next 4 weeks. It is an experiment of sorts. I have had the urge recently (which I often ignore) to do more yoga. My wandering mind that is up in the clouds and my stiff neck and tense shoulders are not letting me ignore this need anymore. The winter blues have me fast forwarding to spring which is still months away. I hope developing a daily yoga practice will help me to find some light in these January days. I want to be present for them.

The Yoga Odyssey is an online course that helps you to commit to a daily yoga practice, and also helps you learn how to practice on your own at home. The idea is that after one month of regular practice, you will have created a "yoga habit" that you can keep going. I am aiming for 15 minutes a day and one class each week. I may or may not write about the experience either here or in some other little notebook I have lying around.
